Jersey Shore here we come!

Tuesday dawned sunny and hot, so we set out for our next destination state, New Jersey. I can’t say there was a lot of particularly interesting things happening today. The route from central PA to NJ was mostly interstate, turnpike and highway—not the picturesque less traveled landscapes from the beginning of the trip. As Audrey mentioned, “the fun hills” were gone. Side note—Greg had particularly enjoyed those PA country roads with their drops that leave your stomach about 2 seconds behind you. He had been making the most of those on our commute from the RV park to Hershey Sunday and Monday. Check out Gravel Hill Road if you are ever near there, or Sandy Beach Road.

Anyway, interstates are not as interesting. Although, you do cross paths with a distinct type of driver up here on these crowded mid Atlantic highways. Much less likely to let you over. More inclined to speed up and cut you off. OH—but always ready to encourage you by letting you know that you are number one! But, we did make it, even without any driving friends, and we landed safely in Tuckerton, NJ. We are now very much in the pine barrens. It’s very much a sandy site (Sand is Greg’s favorite!).

We had a nice dinner, and a quiet night at the RV watching movies. This post is probably the best spot to include my photo montage “Adventure Dog Kevin Explores New Jersey”. Enjoy!
