Day Zero - Ireland

I am sitting in a railway station, got a ticket for my destination…  Wait, no, that’s not right.  I am sitting having my morning coffee wondering how this day is going to unfold.  We are preparing to take a trip over the pond to Ireland.  This trip is one that I have wanted to take for a long time.  I keep going over the packing list in head to make sure I haven’t missed anything essential.  I have a feeling I won’t be able to pop into the local WalMart to grab whatever I forgot.  I am confident my extremely organized bride with make sure we have everything we need.

So, after a delay coming out of Nashville, we made it into Chicago.  We thought we had about an hour and a half to  make out connection.  I very quickly realized we had to leave security, take a train, re-screen through security and then sprint to the gate. It is a good thing I have been running so much.  We made the plane and are now awaiting take off. See you in seven and a half hours.

We made it. Dinner was delicious and the flight attendants were fabulous.
